Our Bespoke Service

Our fabric ranges are woven in the UK using the latest computerised jacquard looms. Modern computer aided design systems have revolutionised the way in which woven designs are created. Using CAD we are now able to convert artwork into woven fabric with relative ease and speed. The required dimensions, repeats, scale etc of a design can easily be manipulated on the computer screen. Then using integrated management systems, the looms can be networked with the design systems, and any alterations made to the design will be picked up automatically when weaving. Our looms now have the added intelligence to weave initial trial samples and record the various settings for that sample. As a result, we are able to provide a bespoke colouring service for our fabrics. For as little as 15 metres we will weave your selected special colours using our extensive range of stock yarns. 

For larger projects we are able to work on bespoke designs and substitute yarns – for example, replace silk with cotton or polyester. For commercial projects  are also able to arrange flame proofing, scotch guarding, paper backing and fabric mesh backing.
